The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 97-89 on Monday, April 29, to complete their four-game sweep and advance to the Western Conference Semi-finals.

The Pelicans were led by guard CJ McCollum, who scored 20 points, leading New Orleans in scoring. Center Jonas Valanciunas trailed right behind with 19 points and 13 rebounds to record the Pelicans' only double-double. Forward Naji Marshall scored 16 points off the bench, but it was not enough to stop the Thunder from gaining an eight-point victory.

The Thunder advance to the Western Conference Semi-Finals, where they will face the winner of the Dallas Mavericks vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. The teams are tied 2-2 in their opening-round playoff series. The Clippers host Game 5 on Wednesday, May 1, hoping to take a 3-2 lead over Dallas.
