Michael Porter Jr. erupted for 35 points, drilling seven 3-pointers, as the Brooklyn Nets took down the Charlotte Hornets 116–103 on Monday night. Noah Clowney added 18, and Nic Claxton anchored the interior with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists as Brooklyn halted a four-game losing streak.

Danny Wolf and Drake Powell gave the Nets a lift off the bench with 10 points each, helping Brooklyn fire away from deep, 17-of-43 from three, outgunning Charlotte’s 12-of-32 performance.

Kon Knueppel paced the Hornets with 18 points, while LaMelo Ball logged a double-double with 12 points and 14 assists. Collin Sexton added 15 for a Charlotte team that came in riding a two-game win streak.

The Hornets clawed within 96–93 after Liam McNeeley sank two free throws with 7:06 to play, but Brooklyn had the answer. Wolf slipped in a layup, Porter nailed a pull-up jumper, and the Nets were back up seven with just over six minutes left. From there, Wolf and Clowney splashed back-to-back threes to push the lead to 112–98, putting the game out of reach.

The teams went into halftime tied at 59, with Porter dropping 17 in the opening half and Knueppel leading Charlotte with 12.
