Utah Jazz forward Ace Bailey has been selected as an injury replacement for the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars event during NBA All-Star Weekend.
Bailey will take the place of Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg on Team Melo after Flagg was ruled out with a left midfoot sprain. The event is set for Friday, Feb. 13 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, and will stream at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
Bailey has appeared in 48 games this season and is averaging 11.6 points and 3.8 rebounds, ranking eighth among NBA rookies in scoring. His production has increased significantly of late, as he has averaged 15.4 points and 5.1 rebounds over his last 15 games while shooting 46.6% from the field.
He will join Team Melo, coached by Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony, one of four NBC Sports NBA analysts serving as honorary coaches for the Rising Stars showcase.
