San Antonio set the tone early, scoring the first 11 points while Wembanyama swatted three shots in the opening 90 seconds. After Sacramento trimmed the deficit to one late in the third, the Spurs closed the quarter on a surge and then opened the fourth with a 12-0 run to blow it open.

The Kings, led by 20 points apiece from Keegan Murray and DeMar DeRozan, dropped a franchise-record 16th straight game.

Knicks 108, Rockets 106

Jalen Brunson tied the game late and then delivered the go-ahead jumper in the final minute after drawing an offensive foul on Kevin Durant. Durant’s 40-footer at the buzzer missed, sealing the Knicks’ dramatic comeback and snapping Houston’s five-game winning streak.

Pistons 126, Bulls 110

Jalen Duren returned from suspension with 26 points and 13 rebounds to help the league-leading Detroit Pistons pull away from the Chicago Bulls.

Detroit broke open a tight game with a 44-26 third quarter, dominating inside with a 68-38 advantage in paint points. Cade Cunningham flirted with a triple-double (18 points, 13 assists, nine rebounds) as the Pistons won their fifth straight. Chicago, paced by Josh Giddey’s 27 points, dropped its eighth in a row.

Heat 136, Grizzlies 120

Jalen Green drilled a corner 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Phoenix Suns to a 113-110 double-overtime victory over the Orlando Magic.

After Orlando tied the game with 1.1 seconds left, Green — who struggled most of the night — delivered the winner. Grayson Allen scored 27 for Phoenix, while Desmond Bane had 34 before fouling out for the Magic.
