Miami Heat guard Jahmir Young has been named as an injury replacement for the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars, stepping in for Chicago Bulls guard Mac McClung.
McClung will miss the event due to a right calf injury, opening the door for Young to join Team Austin. The team is led by honorary coach Austin Rivers and is composed of players who have appeared in NBA G League games this season.
The other Rising Stars squads — Team Melo, Team Vince and Team T-Mac — were previously drafted by honorary coaches Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady from a pool of 21 NBA rookies and sophomores.
The Castrol Rising Stars showcase is set for Friday, Feb. 13 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, as part of NBA All-Star 2026 festivities. The event will stream at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
