The Predictors

The NBA revealed the reserve selections for the 2026 All-Star Game on NBC and Peacock during the debut broadcast of “Sunday Night Basketball,” which featured a doubleheader with the New York Knicks hosting the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the Denver Nuggets. Seven players from each conference were chosen as reserves, with the selections made by NBA head coaches without positional requirements.

Those reserve picks join the 10 starters who were announced earlier on Jan. 19, five from each conference. Together, they will make up the player pool for the 75th NBA All-Star Game, scheduled for Feb. 15 at the Inuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The game will mark the first use of the league’s new U.S. vs. World format and will air nationally on NBC and Peacock.

East

The Eastern Conference starters include Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks, Jaylen Brown of the Celtics, Jalen Brunson of the Knicks, Cade Cunningham of the Pistons and Tyrese Maxey of the 76ers. The East’s reserve group is made up of Scottie Barnes from Toronto, Pistons center Jalen Duren, Hawks forward Jalen Johnson, Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell, Heat guard Norman Powell, Pacers forward Pascal Siakam and Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns. Duren, Johnson and Powell earned their first All-Star selections.

West

In the Western Conference, the starting lineup features Stephen Curry of the Warriors, Luka Dončić of the Lakers, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder, Nikola Jokić of the Nuggets and Victor Wembanyama of the Spurs. The West’s reserves include Portland forward Deni Avdija, Suns guard Devin Booker, Rockets forward Kevin Durant, Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, Thunder big man Chet Holmgren, Lakers star LeBron James and Nuggets guard Jamal Murray. Avdija, Holmgren and Murray are first-time All-Stars.

The 2026 All-Star Game will introduce a round-robin tournament format involving two teams made up of U.S. players and one international “World” team. The three squads will each have at least eight players and will compete in four 12-minute games to determine the winner.

NBC also announced that the finalized U.S. and World team rosters will be unveiled Tuesday on Peacock’s pregame show ahead of the Celtics–Mavericks matchup, which will air that night on NBC and Peacock.
