Cavaliers ignite in second half, Outgun Timberwolves

Donovan Mitchell scored 28 points as Cleveland exploded after halftime to defeat Minnesota 146-134, snapping the Timberwolves’ four-game winning streak. The Cavaliers shot a season-best 59.2% from the field and had five players score at least 20 points for just the second time in franchise history. Evan Mobley added 24 points, Jaylon Tyson scored 23 off the bench, Darius Garland had 22 and Sam Merrill finished with 20 while setting a franchise record with four straight games of at least five 3-pointers.

Pacers cruise past Heat behind Nembhard’s career night

Andrew Nembhard poured in 29 points and handed out nine assists as Indiana routed Miami 123-99. The Pacers never trailed, drilled 17 3-pointers and matched their longest winning streak of the season. Tyler Herro led the Heat with 21 points, but Miami shot just 39.1% and lost for the third time in four games.

Clippers rally late to stun short-handed Pistons

Kawhi Leonard scored 26 points and John Collins added 25 as the Clippers erased a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Detroit 98-92. Los Angeles closed on a 28-8 run, forcing 12 Pistons turnovers in the final period. James Harden finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists as the Clippers won their ninth game in the last 11.

Wembanyama shines sate as Spurs hold off Celtics

Victor Wembanyama scored 16 of his 21 points in the second half, including the game-sealing jumper with 19.2 seconds left, to lift San Antonio past Boston 100-95. De’Aaron Fox also had 21 points, while Derrick White (29) and Jaylen Brown (27) paced the Celtics, who suffered just their third loss in 12 games.

Bulls run past Mavericks, Snap skid

Coby White scored 22 points and Ayo Dosunmu added 20 as Chicago beat Dallas 125-107 to end a three-game losing streak. The Bulls never trailed and dominated in transition, outscoring the Mavericks 38-8 in fast-break points. Dallas played without Anthony Davis and lost coach Jason Kidd to an early ejection.

Hornets deliver historic road rout of Jazz

Charlotte delivered the night’s most jaw-dropping result, dismantling Utah 150-95 for the second-largest win in franchise history and its biggest ever on the road. Brandon Miller scored 18 points, LaMelo Ball had 17 and Tre Mann led all scorers with 20 in just 12 minutes off the bench. The Hornets built a 47-point lead in the first half and led by as many as 57 against a Jazz team resting Lauri Markkanen.
