Powell drilled a go-ahead 3-pointer with 48 seconds left, and Andrew Wiggins sealed the win at the free-throw line after a flagrant foul on Phoenix’s Dillon Brooks. Adebayo also moved into second place on Miami’s all-time scoring list, passing Alonzo Mourning.
Dillon Brooks and Grayson Allen each scored 25 for Phoenix, while Devin Booker finished with 24 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.
