The San Antonio Spurs rolled past the Milwaukee Bucks 127-95 on Saturday, powered by a triple-double from Stephon Castle. Castle finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists as the Spurs extended their winning streak to eight games.
Victor Wembanyama added 23 points, 15 rebounds, and six assists, and six other Spurs players scored in double figures, including Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell with 16 each. San Antonio shot 55.1% from the field and never trailed, opening a 67-45 halftime lead and eventually pushing the margin to 38.
The loss officially eliminated Milwaukee from playoff contention, ending their streak of nine consecutive postseason appearances. The Bucks were without Giannis Antetokounmpo for a sixth straight game due to a knee injury, and several other key players, including Kevin Porter Jr. and Kyle Kuzma sidelined. Gary Trent Jr. led Milwaukee with 18 points.
Up next: San Antonio ends a three-game road trip and returns home to face the Chicago Bulls on Monday, while Milwaukee hosts the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
