The Predictors

Jalen Williams scored 28 points and Isaiah Joe added 21 as the Oklahoma City Thunder rolled past the Phoenix Suns 136-109 on Wednesday night. The Thunder never trailed in the second half, leading by at least 20 points throughout and building a 37-point advantage in the third quarter.

Williams was nearly perfect from the field, shooting 11 of 12, while adding five assists and four rebounds. Joe made 6 of 8 from beyond the arc, and Kenrich Williams contributed 15 points. Rookie Chet Holmgren added 13 points. Oklahoma City shot 58.4% overall and received 74 points from the bench, extending its record to 42-13 — the best in the NBA.

Dillon Brooks led Phoenix with 23 points. Royce O’Neale and Jordan Goodwin each had 12 points. The Suns, missing Devin Booker (ankle), Jalen Green (hamstring), and Grayson Allen (knee), fell behind 75-52 by halftime, with Joe scoring 15 points off the bench to help Oklahoma City jump out early.

Despite the loss, the Suns enter the All-Star break with a 32-23 record, holding strong after trading Kevin Durant over the summer. Oklahoma City, meanwhile, has won four of its last six games, continuing its push toward the top of the Western Conference.
