Julius Randle scored 29 points and the Minnesota Timberwolves never trailed in a dominant 139–106 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.
Short-handed but scorching from the perimeter, Minnesota won its sixth game in seven outings despite missing leading scorer Anthony Edwards (right foot maintenance) and top rebounder Rudy Gobert, who served a one-game suspension for flagrant fouls. Head coach Chris Finch also returned after missing Sunday’s win over San Antonio due to illness.
The Timberwolves overwhelmed Milwaukee with elite shooting, knocking down a season-high 22 3-pointers on 43 attempts and shooting a season-best 59.8% from the field. The 139 points marked the most allowed by the Bucks this season.
Minnesota seized control immediately and never let up, racing to a 76–45 halftime lead — the largest halftime advantage in a road game in franchise history. The Timberwolves extended the margin to as many as 41 points in the second half.
Bones Hyland added a season-high 23 points off the bench, while Naz Reid scored 19 and Jaden McDaniels finished with 17. Rookie center Joan Beringer benefited from Gobert’s absence, logging career highs with 30 minutes, 13 points and five rebounds.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists. The Bucks were without Myles Turner, who missed his first game of the season due to illness.
Tuesday’s contest marked Milwaukee’s lone home game in a seven-game stretch. The Bucks returned from a 2–2 road trip and now head back out to face San Antonio and Atlanta.
