Shaedon Sharpe scored 27 points, grabbed seven rebounds and added four steals as the Portland Trail Blazers extended their winning streak to four games with a 127–110 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday night.
Deni Avdija contributed 20 points before leaving with a back injury, while Caleb Love also scored 20. Toumani Camara added 16 points and Jrue Holiday chipped in 15 as Portland built as much as a 21-point lead. The win marked the Blazers’ 11th in their last 14 games, and their 9–2 record in January is the best in the NBA. At 23–22, Portland is above .500 through 45 games for the first time since the 2020–21 season.
Bam Adebayo led Miami with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Norman Powell added 18 points and Simone Fontecchio had 17 for the Heat, who were held to just nine 3-pointers compared to Portland’s 20, including five by Sharpe on nine attempts.
The game was tight at halftime, with the Trail Blazers leading 64–63, but Portland broke it open with a 17–2 third-quarter run. Sharpe scored a team-high 24 points in the second half to keep the Heat at bay.
