The Cleveland Browns have opened the 21-day window for quarterback Deshaun Watson to return to practice, while he remains on IR.
Watson started the first seven games of the 2024 season. He passed for 1,148 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for an additional 148 yards and one score before suffering a right Achilles injury in Week 7 against the Bengals. He was placed on injured reserve on October 22 and underwent two surgeries to repair the tendon, first on October 25 and a second procedure on January 9.
If Watson cannot return to full health within his 21-day window, he will remain on the Browns reserve list for the remainder of the season.
