Green Bay Packers' quarterback Jordan Love has been ruled out for Saturday night's Week 17 contest against the Baltimore Ravens, the team reported on Friday.

Love was downgraded from questionable to out on Friday after sustaining a concussion in last Saturday’s 22-16 overtime loss to the Chicago Bears. He did not clear all required stages of the concussion protocol. Backup quarterback Malik Willis replaced Love in that game but injured his right throwing shoulder on the final play of regulation.

Both Love and Willis were limited participants in practice this week. Willis also missed one day due to an illness that has been circulating in the Packers’ locker room. However, he is expected to be the starter on Saturday night.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said earlier this week that progressing through the concussion protocol can be unpredictable, noting that players may feel fine one day and experience setbacks the next, making the process difficult to project.

Clayton Tune, who has spent the entire season on the practice squad, is expected to serve as Willis’ backup. The Packers will need to add Tune to the active roster on Saturday, as he was not included in Friday’s roster moves.

The Ravens may also be without their starting quarterback.** Lamar Jackson** is listed as doubtful due to a back contusion, and if he is unable to play, Tyler Huntley is expected to start for Baltimore.

The Packers, now 9-5-1, clinched a playoff spot Thursday after the Detroit Lions lost to the Minnesota Vikings. They can still win the NFC North by winning their final two games and having the Bears lose their final two.
