Titans vs. Browns Dec. 7

The Tennessee Titans (2-11) finally snapped their seven-game losing streak, grinding out a 31–29 win over the Cleveland Browns (3-10) behind their best rushing performance of the season and a flurry of impact plays across all three phases.

Tennessee pounded out 5.3 yards per carry and leaned on Tony Pollard, who delivered a career day with 161 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including a 65-yard burst that helped the Titans jump to a 14–3 first-quarter lead.

Cleveland fought back behind rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who threw for 364 yards and three touchdowns and added a rushing score, giving the Browns a 17–14 halftime edge. But the Titans flipped the game in the second half, taking advantage of two Cleveland turnovers and a blocked punt that turned into 17 points. Safety Xavier Woods’ interception set up a 32-yard Pollard touchdown run, and Cedric Gray’s fumble recovery, part of his team-high 10 tackles, positioned Tennessee for a short Cam Ward touchdown pass to Chimere Dike.

Ward, the No. 1 overall pick, threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns while avoiding heavy pressure for the first time this season. Tennessee built a 31–17 lead before the Browns made a late push with two Sanders touchdowns in the final five minutes. But Cleveland failed on both two-point attempts, and Tennessee sealed the game when Dike recovered the onside kick.

Harold Fannin Jr. led the Browns receivers with 114 yards and a touchdown, while Jerry Jeudy added a 60-yard score. Myles Garrett reached 20 sacks on the season, becoming the 14th player in league history to hit that mark.
