Another setback has thinned the Buffalo Bills’ receiving corps.

Veteran wide receiver Gabe Davis suffered a torn ACL during Buffalo’s Wild Card Round victory over Jacksonville, head coach Sean McDermott confirmed Monday. The injury will end Davis’ season.

Davis’ return to Buffalo had already been a winding one. After tearing his ACL in his lone season with the Jaguars in 2024, the 26-year-old spent the early portion of the 2025 season on the Bills’ practice squad while continuing his recovery. He made his season debut in a mid-November win over Tampa Bay and went on to appear in six regular-season games, starting five of them. Davis caught 12 passes for 129 yards and a touchdown during the regular season and added two receptions for 14 yards in Sunday’s playoff win.

His injury marks the third major blow to Buffalo’s wide receiver room. Josh Palmer and Curtis Samuel are both on injured reserve, leaving the Bills with just four healthy wideouts: Brandin Cooks, Khalil Shakir, Tyrell Shavers and former 33rd-overall pick Keon Coleman.

Buffalo will now take on the top-seeded Denver Broncos on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET, without Davis.
