The Denver Broncos have re-signed Alexander Johnson to a two-year deal, keeping the veteran inside linebacker in Denver for the 2026 season.

Singleton emerged as one of the team’s most reliable defenders in 2025, recording 135 tackles despite returning to the field just weeks after undergoing surgery for testicular cancer. At 32, he is expected to anchor the Broncos’ inside linebacker group, which will likely include one or two draft additions this April. His deep understanding of the defense is so thorough that inside linebackers coach Jeff Schmedding compared Singleton’s presence in the huddle to having defensive coordinator Vance Joseph right there calling plays.
