John Harbaugh’s New York Giants coaching staff is coming together quickly.
The Giants are hiring former Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson as their new defensive coordinator, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported Sunday.

Wilson, 43, spent the past two seasons overseeing Tennessee’s defense but was not retained after the Titans hired Robert Saleh as head coach. He has a prior connection with Harbaugh, having served as the Baltimore Ravens’ defensive backs coach in 2023. That season, Baltimore finished sixth in the NFL in pass defense, and safety Kyle Hamilton earned his first Pro Bowl selection.
Earlier Sunday, Pelissero also reported that New York is bringing in former Ravens special teams coordinator Chris Horton to serve as the Giants’ special teams coordinator and assistant head coach.
