The Green Bay Packers have agreed to a one-year deal with wide receiver and return specialist Skyy Moore, a source confirmed to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky on Tuesday.
Green Bay entered the offseason in need of help in the return game after finishing last in the NFL in punt return average at 5.6 yards and tied for 22nd in kickoff return average at 25.2 yards during the 2025 season. Romeo Doubs and Matthew Golden handled most of the punt return duties last season, while Savion Williams, Bo Melton and Emanuel Wilson split kickoff return responsibilities.
Moore spent last season with the San Francisco 49ers after being acquired in an August trade from the Kansas City Chiefs that involved late-round draft pick swaps. Once he settled into his role in San Francisco, Moore became one of the league’s more productive returners, particularly on kickoffs.
The 25-year-old ranked sixth in the NFL with a 27.5-yard kickoff return average and came close to breaking two returns for touchdowns. He also finished seventh in punt return average at 11.6 yards per attempt.
Moore saw limited action on offense with the 49ers, recording five receptions for 87 yards while occasionally being used on gadget plays.
Originally selected by Kansas City in the second round (No. 54 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft, Moore spent three seasons with the Chiefs before last year’s trade. During his time in Kansas City, he totaled 43 receptions for 494 yards and one touchdown.
