The Los Angeles Rams are making a major push for championship contention.
The team is set to acquire star cornerback Trent McDuffie in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. In return, the Chiefs will receive Los Angeles’ 2026 first-round pick (No. 29 overall), as well as a fifth- and sixth-round selection in this April’s draft and a 2027 third-round pick.
McDuffie, a 2022 first-round selection, is currently in the final year of his rookie deal. He is expected to sign a new contract as part of the trade, with over $30.1 million in additional guaranteed money, Rapoport reported.
